Get To Know Your Neighbor: A Blog On Blog Interview Series #8 Zach Hart of We Listen For You

So welcome to the eighth installment of my series Get To Know Your Neighbor. It’s my way of saying thanks to those folks that have been cool to me, and a chance to give back to the community that I love so much. This was also an opportunity for me to give you, the reader, some insight into the blogs that have influenced me. Consider it my own personal take on #FF (Follow Fridays). The series will consist of a five question interview with a different blogger/writer each time, along with a few word associations and of course, a list of what you should be listening to. Hopefully you’ll discover a new blog or artist you haven’t heard of yet. You might even learn something new.

Zach of We Listen For You is one of those die-hards. He cares so much about the music and the intricate details behind the scenes that bring chords, strings and lyrics to life, it’s not just a part of him, the music is him. Zach has managed to carve out a pocket in the music world for his voice to be heard, and often it’s not what you want to hear, but that’s what makes him Zach. He’s like the Robin Hood of music, robbing from the mainstream and giving to the independents. He’s one of the most interesting people talking about music today and I’d be lying if I said some of my outspoken voice on music didn’t come from reading We Listen For You and realizing it’s ok to disagree.
