I’ve been a huge and very vocal support of Azealia Banks for quite a while now, though the more she dropped new tracks the more I grew tired of her as she came across as just recycling the same old beats and rhymes.

Listening to this free mixtape Fantasea, though, it kinda changes things up a little bit. Other than her Jumanji EP it’s the first multi-track release she’s dropped and the closest thing to a complete piece of work yet. There is definitely a lot to enjoy here, and some to grow tired off too, but she’s one of the most talented rappers of her age group at the moment, and with some exposure to more talented producers she has the potential to be huge.

Tonight she dropped Fantasea, a free mixtape that features a slew of tracks she’s already released like “Fuck Up The Fun” and “Jumanji”, and a slew that we’ve never heard before.
