Video: The Dø - The Wicked And The Blind
It never got the praise and attention that it truly deserved, but The Dø’s second album Both Ways Open Jaws that dropped last year was one of my personal highlights.
The stunning, sublime, beautiful live version of “Dust It Off” in an aquarium is what first turned me onto the band and I’ve been hooked since. Back in March they dropped another gorgeous video but this time it wasn’t a live version, but a black and white Fritz Lang-esque sea journey for “Gonna Be Sick”.
Yesterday NPR premiered their new video for “The Wicked And The Blind” and also revealed how they were late to The Dø party. Oh well, better late than never, eh? Both Ways Open Jaws is out now and well worth your time.
