Listen: Animal Collective - Today’s Supernatural

Even though we’ve already had two new tracks from Animal Collective as part of a new single (“Honeycomb” and “Gotham”), they’re only just announcing the first official single from their upcoming album Centipede Hz.

As announced a few days back the band were launching an online radio stream with new tracks, guest mixes, sweet DJ spots, and some guaranteed fucked up visuals (those were a given), but they also premiered said new single “Today’s Supernatural” which you can now hear below.

It’s frantic, frenetic, and also has some hints of a heavier, more mechanical direction. Don’t listen to me, though, listen to them. Centipede Hz is released on September 3rd/4th via Domino.
