Video: Antony and the Johnsons - Cut The World
This week sees the release of Antony And The Johnsons’ new live album Cut The World, and today Pitchfork premiered a new song and video from it for the album’s title track.
Directed by NABIL and featuring Willem Dafoe and Carice van Houten, it’s a deeply dark video that’s had me watching it five times in a row, it’s so harrowing and affecting, and the music probably wouldn’t fit any other video made for it.
Cut The World is out today in Europe and tomorrow in the U.S. via Secretly Canadian.
