Julianna Barwick and Helado Negro are two artists on Asthmatic Kitty’s label, though they’d never met before. When they did they hit it off, so much so that they formed a new band called OMBRE and recorded an entire album together.
Now the album is almost a week away from being released and we have another new cut from it, you know, since we missed the first one. Replete with the hauntingly sparse and ethereal sound that Barwick is known for there’s another six layers of Negro’s instrumentation.
