These albums that get announced, promoted for a few weeks and then released in almost no turnaround time at all are some of my favourite, especially when it’s by one of my favourite bands.
Today this album is brought to you by the letter Deerhoof, as only a few weeks ago they announced their new album Breakup Song, the followup to last year’s Deerhoof vs. Evil. Now, just a few weeks later we’ve heard the first song in “The Trouble With Candyhands” and they’re back with another new track “Fête d’Adieu”.
Breakup Song is released in just three weeks on September 4th via Polyvinyl.
