“Night Song”, an icy number by Brooklyn’s Family Band, is our first look at the band’s debut album, “Grace and Lies”, which is due for release on July 24th via No Quarter Records.
The track gives off a beautiful, gothic vibe, due to a fusion of lead singer Kim Krans’ deep, husky voice and husband Johnny Ollsin’s dreamy, dreary instrumentation and programming. The husband wife duo is reminiscent of girl-led groups like 2:54 and Melody’s Echo Chamber.
